Dr. Gabe on Breath, Vitamin D, and Hygiene

Dr. Gabe Adorjan of Modern American Dentistry clues us in on signs that you might not be getting enough restorative sleep.

A sore or tight jaw as well as a scalloped tongue are just some of the symptoms associated with airway obstruction during sleep.

Vitamin D is one of the most important hormones and precursors involved in sleep quality. For example, we’ve seen that vitamin D can resolve the grinding of the teeth in children.

Vitamin D, K2, and calcium have an intricate relationship. These all regulate our growth and development in conjunction with restorative sleep which is particularly important for children.
