COVID-19: Patients in South Korea test positive again due to virus reactivation

On April 6, South Korea reported fewer than 50 new cases of COVID-19 for the first time since infections peaked in late February. However, the fall in new cases comes amid fresh concerns of virus reactivation. More than 50 people who recovered have tested positive again. Authorities said it is unlikely they have been reinfected, as they tested positive too soon after recovery. Investigations are ongoing.
