It’s Day-27 of 30-day weight loss plan with intermittent fasting and fitness routine. Intermittent fasting can provide significant health benefits if it is done right along with just two meals a day. Today’s workout plan is focused towards importance of outdoor activity to get enough vitamin D along with burning calories and the diet plan is focused towards eggetarian food sources of vitamin D.
Today I went for brisk walk & slow jogging. I prefer to walk or jog in sun for 30mins to 1 hr to get a burst of vitamin D. When your skin is exposed to sunlight, it makes vitamin D from cholesterol. The sun’s ultraviolet B (UVB) rays hit cholesterol in the skin cells, providing the energy for vitamin D synthesis to occur.
I choose to go for brisk walk or slow jogging once or twice a week to get enough vitamin D. It is very necessary for the absorption of calcium, which plays a key role in maintaining bone density & strength. Getting enough of both vitamin D and calcium is crucial to maintaining bone health and preventing the weak and brittle bones.
