Ms. Monica Bahl CEO, Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council New Delhi.She is a service professional with more than 24+yrs of experience in the field of Health, Beauty, Wellness, Dermatology & Education.Out of these 24 years of experience most of it has been in the leadership roles involving strategic planning and execution, organisation building (infrastructure & team), P&L management; progressive 13 years of multi-functional experience in Business Development, Operations and Sales.At present she is CEO of B&WSSC, Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council is not for profit organization under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.Prior to this, she was working with VLCC as a Senior Vice President for South East Asia. Before that she has also handled India Operations for both the VLCC centres & Spa division as well as the Education division.

As we all know that the entire world has passed through most difficult times in the recently due to pandemic Corona virous and now things are opening up and people would require physical and mental wellness at all stages. Hence, the ICSI has taken Wellness Sector Skill Council on board to bring appropriate awareness all around.Having faced with new realities of working from home, temporary unemployment, home-schooling of children, and lack of physical contact with other family members, friends and colleagues, it is important that now we look after our mental, as well as our physical, health.Wellness is more than being free from illness; it a dynamic process of change and growth” a conscious, self-directed and evolving process of achieving full potential.Emotional,Financial, Social and Occupational wellness besides physical wellness are the main challenges now before the humanity in the post pandemic times . virtual mental healthcare, which sees a steep increase in demand for all ages, but particularly in the teen and young adult demographic is the most important concern of all. we have to take care of children when schools, colleges, universities will open up.

The ICSI has tied up with the wellness Sector skill council in India by inviting the professional resource persons to share what all to be done post pandemic for their entire wellness eco process. Our Youth got to take need based practical education with complete blend of Skills, Competencies and capabilities of each child. Generation needs to gain skills and competences to innovate, design, program, make, and build digital technology.
Todays Speaker has a huge network in 40 countries with 2,00,000 students in various skills programmes. ICSI has offered its platform to organise innovative programmes from time to time to engage our youth in the most productive and positive way to make India Atam Nirbhar Bharat in the near future.
