COVID-19

Nurse Infected With Covid-19 | Registered Nurse | Covid-19 | Experience | Health Education

Hey hey hey..!

Thanks once more for tuning in. So sometime in the beginning of December 2020 I was tested covid positive. Though I’m exposed to such in my daily life due to the hospital being my second home, never have I imagined myself being infected. Let me take you on a daily journey as I share with you my experience with this deadly virus.

I am honoured because it never affected me to a point whereby I had to get admitted. Though there was one night I couldn’t quite sleep because I felt that I was running out of breath, I kept my faith strong and refused to go to the hospital. Reason being’s that it’s a depressive environment and when one’s depressed their condition deteriorates.

I dedicate this video to all lives that were taken by this virus. I think of y’all almost everyday ❤️

After recovering and being cleared by the doctor, I went on leave but we were all called back due to the demand at work. It’s now the second wave and it has hit harder than the first. We’re all working as a team to help those infected, and believe you me it’s something one cannot get used to.

Let’s all keep safe and try to isolate ourselves as much as possible to avoid transmitting or being infected with the Covid virus.

DRUGS I WAS PUT ON:
Azithromycin, Prednisone, Thiamine, Zinc, Vitamin C, Slow Mag, Paracetamol, Synaleve, Cough Syrup, Vit-t-Go rehydration solution, Andolex throat spray, Illiadin nasal drops, Strepsil Lozenges.

STEAMING:
Eucalyptus essential oil, Lemongrass essential oil, Tea tree essential oil, Vicks vapour rub.

SUPER VITAMIN CONCOCTION:
A whole garlic bunch, a whole ginger bunch, 2 fresh lemon fruits, 200ml honey, 8 dispirin (aspirin) tablets.
Chop and mix them all in a large pot with lots of water. Bring it to boil for 20-30mins. Drink half a cup of that water 2-3 times daily, over 2 days.
