On the 12th March, Boris Johnson gave his first big coronavirus press conference, flanked by Chris Whitty and Patrick Vallance, where he laid out Britain’s relaxed approach to coronavirus restrictions. The day after that speech Michael Walker and Aaron Bastani discussed the theories behind Britain’s doomed strategy.
