Benefit of Bitter Gourd:
*Bitter Gourd or Ampalaya is rich source of
antioxidants, flavonoids,
and other polyphenol compounds, and may help to
reduce your risks for a number of health issues.

It contains twice the calcium of spinach and
beta-carotene of broccoli. Various anti-oxidants
and anti-inflammatory compounds are present in
bitter gourd. It also helps in lowering the
bad cholesterol levels,
thus reducing the risk of heart disease and stroke.

*Bitter melon fruits and leaves
have long been used in the Amazon for
their medicinal properties. In Peru, the leaves
