Summary:
1. Make More Home-Cooked Meals
What better time to polish up your culinary skills than being locked indoors! Making your own meals from home is one of the best ways to stay healthy. Think about it. You finally have some control over what you’re eating. No, I’m not talking about hot pockets and mini bagel bites you just throw in the microwave. That’s cheating. I mean the foods you can make from scratch. With the right foods and ingredients, the possibilities are endless.

2. Cut Back On The Burgers
And not just the burgers. Fast food in general. I know, there’s sometimes nothing better than the taste of a juicy Big Mac. But being in quarantine can be an excuse to lay on the couch and scarf down several. This will hurt your health in many different ways. Not only will you gain weight, your blood pressure will go up, increasing your chances of heart disease and stroke.

3. Watch Your Portion Sizes
This goes back to what I said about calories. Being at home will give you more time to eat. Especially if you’re not working. So you need to watch your portion sizes for every meal. Not being around family and friends often leaves a void that is easily filled by binge eating.

4. Easy On The Booze
Since quarantine started at the beginning of the year, more and more people have been drinking alcohol. In March of 2020, some reports even showed a 300% increase in alcohol sales.
