Vitamin A – EAT FOR YOUR EYES

In this Eat For Your Eyes short, a brief introduction as to why vitamin A is good for your eyes and that vegetable sources, such as spinach, carrots and sweet potatoes are good sources of it. Vegetable sources are better than animal sources due to the water solubility, reducing the risk of vitamin A toxicity.

Please note that you MUST consult with a doctor or dietician if you plan to take vitamin A supplements due to the risk of toxicity and the additional risks Vitamin A may pose if you are a smoker.
