Dr Karthikeyan Pethusamy – MD, DNB, MNAMS, is a PhD Scholar (Department of Biochemistry) AIIMS, New Delhi
Dr Karthikeyan has been an excellent performer since his college days. He has three distinctions and a gold medal in Medicine. He has a great affection for the Biochemistry. After MBBS, he opted to study MD Biochemistry because of his passion towards the subject. He joined AIIMS as an SR and PhD scholar after completing his MD from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. He did his MD thesis on the effect of inflammatory gene polymorphisms on stroke. Currently, he is studying the epigenetic changes in Acute Myeloid Leukemia under the mentorship of Dr Subhradip Karmakar. His passion for the subject and his style of teaching makes him a popular name amongst the medicos nationally.
