Vitamin D is very important component which is mainly essential for musculoskeletal system.
It is a fat soluble vitamin that means it can be stored with in our body which has required of the important component and that is cholesterol (blood cholesterol).High Density lipid.

Vitamin D is important for normal body functioning.
It is essential for the absorption of calcium, phosphorus and magnesium to help in maintaining strong bones.

It’s defeciency can lead to Weakbones and possible fractures,low immunity, respiratory tract problems,back pain,cancer,diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases , depression and hairfall and overconsumption can lead to Nausea,headaches and cardiovascular issues.

Vit D Sources:
Dietary animal food products (fish and meat). Forti fied dairy milk,dahi, paneer,cheedar cheese
Soy products: Tofu and soya chunks.
Egg Yolk.
Mushroom.

In short – Vitamin D is not important only for bones,but it is very important for healthy immune system,brain and heart health to combat depression and to prevent cancer.
