This video provides a pharmacist’s overview of mRNA based vaccine technology soon available to contain the coronavirus causing COVID-19. As a first video, we will work on the basics about how mRNA can be used to teach the immune system to recognize and attack the SARS-CoV2 virus. Briefly discussed is why mRNA technology is faster to produce than the usual vaccine.
