“The Vegan Diet Is Healthy So Why Do We Need a B12 Supplement?”
The plant based diet or in moral cases the vegan diet has been highly popularized over the last decade as the best nutritional lifestyle for people to follow that desire optimal health and a youthful appearance. Yet, one of the major complaints of people that follow a plant based diet is that they are vitamin b12 deficient. They maintain that in order to get the adequate vitamin b12 they have to supplement with a vitamin b12 supplement or run the risk of being vitamin b12 deficient.

The question that i’ve posed in this video is a simple one. If the vegan diet (though vegan is not a diet) is a great diet for us, why would we have to go outside of nature to supplement with vitamin b12 when it should be in our food sources naturally? Naturally there has to be a list of plants that serve as vitamin b12 foods or food combinations that are not being properly consumed. This video is not against or for veganism. It is a simple question that came to me recently during a two day dry fast that completed. Weigh in on the b12 supplement conversation!
