Ive been taking these supplements for a couple of weeks now. I havent noticed any difference in my eyesight but Ill keep taking them in case it takes longer to actually see any improvement.
When this bottle runs out I believe I will purchase another bottle as they do have some good vitamins and minerals in them. They are easy to swallow and not large.
Five years ago macular degeneration diagnosed. Told to take AREDS 2. My MD has not advanced one bit. I am a believer.
These will (or will not) have a long term effect. I cannot give a verdict about results until my next eye exam.
I received a very good one after I used my Bemer for a few month – for the first time in 60 years of eye glass wearing one eye has had an improvement.
My eye Dr. suggested I use the eye vitamins. She had had one patient whose cataracts improved with the use of them. I will wait to tell you if by using both I have further improvement.
We have been using this product (AREDS) for many years. My husbands eye disease has not progressed since we have been using it. The number of pills in the bottle is wonderful. You use a lot of them per month
I knew at an early age, from observing my father and his parents, that I was pretty much guaranteed to lose my hearing. At age 69 I only have 20% of my hearing left, so little that my hearing aids are struggling to keep up.
So I am learning to read lips and use headphones for listening to music and the TV. The threat of losing my eyesight would be a more dramatic problem (for me) and I fully understand anyone concerned with developing macular degeneration.
My wife has been fighting the progress of this disease for the past 10 years.
Her eye surgeon, who did his residency and fellowship at Harvard Medical School, strongly recommended that my wife buy Areds 2 (originally just Areds) and adhere to the twice a day regimen.
