Most women should be taking 1,000 mg supplement of calcium a day, which is easy enough to find; however, Oscal is the only brand I found that had my doctors recommended dosage: 500 mg calcium, 200 mg Vitamin D in each tablet.
Nearly impossible to find in stores (I think Walmart carries it) so I just keep ordering them in this large quantity. By the way, my bone density test came back in the normal range once I started taking these pills.
Got these online to keep from going to store. Glad they were online. Have osteopenia. Dr. Told me to take this.
I have been taking Os-Cal (recommended by Dr.) for many years. I A good sourcoe of Calcium and a geat value for the money. A plus is that I have strong nails. so I am certain this product is helpful to me.
