Spinach Nutrition Facts | Vegetables

Here are some of the main nutrition facts for cooked spinach:

– Spinach is particularly rich in vitamin K1. It provides more than 700% of the daily recommended amount per 100g.

– It contains more than 90% of our daily needs in beta-carotene per 100g.

– 100g contains 57% of the daily needs in vitamin E for women and 43% for men.

– 100g of spinach also provides 41% of the daily recommended amount in folate.

– Spinach is a source of minerals such as calcium, iron, manganese, magnesium and potassium. It provides 7–23% of the daily recommended amount per 100g.

– Lastly, 100g of spinach contains around 20% of our daily needs in vitamin C and it also contains other vitamins such as B vitamins.
