Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vassily Nebenzi and CEO of Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev are expected to present the Russian-made Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine to the United Nations during a virtual side event on Wednesday, December 2, ahead of a General Assembly in response to the coronavirus disease.
Dubbed the ‘world’s first’ vaccine against COVID-19, Sputnik V is set to be administered to civilians in early 2021. The product was registered by the Russian Health Ministry and is produced with the financial help of the Russian Direct Investment Fund.
