Feels lovely on my face
In my 40s with clear, unlined skin. However I have sensitive, dry skin with rosacea.
Typically my skin has a flush (type 1 rosacea) with some visible capillaries, but I did experience one pustulopapular flare up (type 2) that led me to be even more discerning with what I use on my face.
I dont regularly wear make up, and when I do, it is of great quality and I keep it to a minimum. Even so, I prefer a barrier between any make up and skin.
My skin likes products with nourishing ingredients that are gentle. After washing and applying moisturizer and nourishing oils, I like to put on a primer.
But not any sort of primer. I want it to be an extension of my face care. So I look for products that arent relying on silicones to prime the face. Of many I tried, there are just two that I like so far.
I like 100% Pure brand brightening primer to give my face a little nourishing boost as well as this brightening primer by LUXURY by Sofia. They can be used under make up, or by themselves.
This primer feels nice, and works well as an under neath make up primer. In addition to some wonderful ingredients such as Aloe, jojoba seed oil,green tea, avocado butter etc (not the whole list), it is also cruelty free, and made in USA.
It is the best” healthy “ makeup primer I have found. I put it atop my moisturizer ( wait 2min.) then apply foundation, which lasts longer because of it.
Before I apply makeup I like that it creates a soft looking skin- after makeup I don’t notice it, just appreciate the hold it creates. No breakouts- I’m happy with it!
I like this product. It comes out seemingly oily but thickens if you rub it together before applying. Takes a few minutes to set but I like applying my concealer after about a minute.
The only downside is that the pump is aggressive so you can’t get less than a full pump if you need a spot touch up.

I need to say that this primer is absolutely wonderfull. I have sensitive skin and normally it is very difficult for me to find the perfect product.
When I was reading about the ingredients of this primer, It sounded to me like it is really what I want to use before my make up; and also for those days when I want to look totally natural.
I bought it and I have used it every single day and I need to say that my skin looks amazing. My make up matches perfectly with this primer and I love to use it on my “no-make-up” days.
This primer makes my skin look absolutely gorgeous, soft, clean and more young and healthy. Thank you so much to Luxury by Sofia for creating this powerful and amazing Primer.
I really Love it and highly recommend it. It is the perfect bang for the buck!
Never really liked primers before they made my skin feel oily or broke my face out. This has a light fragrance and holds my makeup in place but doesn’t feel like a mask underneath it.
I have very oily skin and I’m allergic to a lot of things I’ve had no issues with this bothering my face or irritating my eyes .
Really helps moisturize as well as prep for longer lasting makeup. For a more natural look does well alone.
This is a great primer. Best I have ever used, the only flaw is the pump is a little too aggressive and half the primer flies out of my hand when dispensed.
