📊 Important Clarification From Dr. PJ: At 4:38 I ask Dr. PJ about the COVID-19 mortality rate and how it varies based on age and comorbidities. Beginning at 5:06 he references a table from the California Department of Public Health that is shown on-screen. In the fifth column, this table shows the percentage of *total* deaths by age group, not the mortality rate of a particular age group. For example, this table indicates that of all the people who have passed away from COVID-19 of all age groups, 41.1% were age 80 or above. It is *not* saying that 41.1% of those age 80 or above who contract COVID-19 die from COVID-19. Dr. PJ talks about this in this video:
