Walking on the beach with bare feet has helped Anie and I to ground ourselves all afternoon. The theory behind grounding, also known as earthing, is that electrical pulses of energy from the earth can be absorbed through our feet when we walk barefoot, especially on wet or moist sand and lead to a multitude of health benefits. Also, Vitamin D, which has has been shown to help improve calcium absorption, autoimmune response and mood, is plentiful on any sunny beach, like Cronulla Beach, where we decided to do our walk.
