Had some of this flavor (chocolate mint) a few months ago and enjoyed them. This time around they taste like cardboard. They have very little flavor, could barely tell there was any mint in it, and the chocolate was thin and weak.
I had a hard time eating a whole bar, gave up after about half. BLAH. What a disappointment, I will not be buying any more of this flavor. The double dark chocolate bars are delicious, Ill stick with them.

I’m a diabetic & when I want a quick snack I’ll have one of these.
I am on a special renal diet and these bars are approved for protein content without containing too much other contents. The taste is consistently good. I do have to take a drug to prevent phosphorous overload, but that is minor.
so, talk about chocolate chewy goodness. I always keep a granola and or protein bar in my handbag for emergencies and I end up needing them more often than I expected.
Well at least I found the Zone tasty goodness. Also available is another flavor but it didnt involve any chocolate. I am sticking with them, now on a subscribe and save
We really like the taste of the chocolate chili cookie dough flavor. Tastes like the real deal! Probably could use a bit more protein but remain a delicious bar.
Unfortunately since the pandemic began, the price has just about doubled. But what hasnt! Nonetheless, we have been forced to switch to another brand until we shop at a big box store.
My boxes came a little dented, but the bars themselves were unharmed. And holy moly, are they good. They resemble the flavor of the out-of-production SlimFast bars of the same flavor, and I couldnt be happier about that.
Their flavor doesnt stand out as “nutrition bar-y,” and could pass for cookie dough if it werent as dense as it is (not that this is any issue). 10/10 flavor.
Would (and probably will) purchase again, and definitely recommend.
Finally, a protein bar that my son will eat. Tastes just like chocolate chip cookie dough! Texture is not that weird stuff you get in most protein bars, which keeps it enjoyable to eat.
Makes an excellent snack between school and practice! Heads up… after purchasing nearly 10 boxes, I have come to the conclusion that it is a flat sticky, smashed bar, rather than the nice rod that is displayed in the picture.
However the shape has no effect upon its great taste.
