These Natures Instincts Vitamin D3 Softgels contain 5,000 IU of D3 Cholecalciferol in each softgel and there are 120 softgels in the bottle. My entire family takes D3 supplements but my husband and I take 10,000 IU on advice of our physicians.
I like having these in 5,000 IU for our younger family members and I can just take two. The softgels are small and very easy to swallow. As with all supplements, check with your healthcare provider before using.

These are extremely easy to swallow. 5000 IU is perfect for the day. I take these towards the evening as there is evidence that vitamin D may make you more tired; so taking it during the evening aids in me sleeping well.
I must take these because I am not exposed to the sun at all – especially in the winter. If you have regular exposure to sun light, these are not really a necessity for you.
My doctor suggested that I use vitamins D3 supplement of 5000 IU. I never realized how many brands that there actually are. I have tried Natures Instincts supplements in the past so I thought it would be a good brand to try.
It will take a while before I know if they actually will help but they seem to have night quality ingredients. They assimilate well into my system and do not seem to cause me to have stomach problems.
I will continue to use the whole bottle and update this review afterward when I know if they helped but for now I will trust that they will help.
