This webinar is part one of a two part mini-series on how Nutrition International’s NTEAM promptly reviewed ongoing TAN assignments at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic to quickly establish whether they remained relevant, and to ensure they were adapted, where possible, to respond to the immediate nutrition-related needs and challenges being faced, as well as the longer-term nutrition-related implications of the pandemic. This webinar mini-series:
1. Explores how TAN’s technical assistance in Bangladesh and Ethiopia rapidly adapted to be part of each country’s COVID-19 response planning.
2. Provides an opportunity for participants to ask questions about, and share their own experience with, adapting nutrition-related work in response to COVID-19.
The first webinar covering Bangladesh will be moderated by Dr. Kefas Samson, Director of Nutrition International’s NTEAM, with the following speakers:
• Director-General of the Bangladesh National Nutrition Council, Dr. Md. Khalilur Rahman
• Nutrition International’s Country Director, Bangladesh, Saiqa Siraj
• NTEAM’s Technical Assistance Provider in Bangladesh, Dr. Iqbal Kabir.
We hope that the learnings from these webinars can help inform governments and the global nutrition community as they work to respond to and overcome challenges presented by COVID-19.
