Thiamine (vitamin B1) is an important constituent of thiamine pyrophosphate (TPP), a cofactor found in several important dehydrogenase reactions. Notably, it is found in pyruvate dehydrogenase, alpha ketoglutarate dehydrogenase, and branched chain ketoacid dehydrogenase. And don’t forget about the transketolase enzyme!
