How to make QUICK & EASY VEGAN MEAL!

Vegan diet contains only plants such as vegetables, grains, nuts and fruits.
Vegans do not eat foods that come from animals, including dairy products and eggs. This is Healthy eating for a vegan. You can get the right nutrients from a vegan diet.

Recipes:

NUMBER 1: Falafel Wrap:
For the sauce you need:
1 tablespoon of harissa sauce
50ml of almond or soy milk

To make the falafel:
half an onion
half a teaspoon of garlic paste or two cloves
half a can of chickpeas (dried)
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of salt/pepper
1 – 4 tablespoons of flour
1 teaspoon of cumin
1 tablespoon of olive oil

Toppings may include:
avocado
tomatoes
salad

NUMBER 2: Strawberry Smoothie
1 banana
handful of strawberries
300ml of almond or soy milk
Optional: vegan protein powder (1 scoop)

NUMBER 3: Red Pepper Pasta
For the sauce you need:
1 red pepper
half a red onion
half a teaspoon of garlic paste or 2 cloves
handful of cashew nuts
50 – 100ml of almond or soy milk
half a teaspoon of salt and pepper
half a teaspoon of paprika

Pasta: Tagliatelle

green, leafy vegetables – such as broccoli, cabbage and okra, but not spinach etc.

Vegan sources of Iron
pulses, wholemeal bread and flour etc.

Vegan sources of Vitamin B12
unsweetened soya drinks, yeast extract etc

Vegan sources of Omega-3 fatty acids
rapeseed oil, soya oil and soya-based foods like tofu etc
