dita von teese’s favorite luxury beauty products.

For years I have been using a mass market face lotion every morning to get my skin feeling not dry. A friend recommended I try Mad Hippie because their natural ingredients would be better for me long term.
So I recently switched my routing to a trio of their products. After my morning shower I use the Mad Hippie hydrating nutrient mist and follow up with the Vitamin C serum + exfoliating serum.
There is a pleasant subtle scent which I prefer over an overpowering one. I rub it in and start the day feeling fresh and moisturized. Highly recommend!
I’ve used this serum for 2 months and had amazing results! My scars are lightening and though I keep getting acne it goes away fairly quickly with this. I also use the face lotion and eye lotion from Mad Hippie. Love them!
(Just to clarify, this is NOT a sponsored post in any way. I bought this with my own money and hadn’t heard of this company until this serum popped up as a suggestion in Amazon.)
I’ve tried tons of serums, face oils, moisturizers, etc over the last 10 years. Everything from super-pricey Sunday Riley products, to organic face oils and serums from places like Whole Foods.
I’ve gotten most things from Sephora or Ulta. I am super, SUPER impressed with this product. It smells fantastic; clean and slightly floral.
It doesn’t dry sticky or tacky, and your face has the look and feel of being hydrated but not with a slick sheen that you end up mattifying with powder.
Many hyaluronic acid products really leave your face super glistening, but this doesn’t. However it still gives that hyaluronic acid “glow” so to speak, and it plumps up any fine lines on my face.
Also, the bottle was filled appropriately with enough clearance for the dropper; no short changing. I felt it was well worth the cost. I’m using it daily right now and will be a continuing customer.
🙂 thanks for a great product!
I use this everyday along with the Exfoliating Serum. It is nice and light to put on. My skin feels amazing and looks super healthy. It is helping to lighten small blemishes and more time will tell, but it seems to reducing some wrinkles as well.
I have very sensitive skin and am prone to break out and this product works great. I never write reviews, but felt the need for this because its amazing!
Highly recommend it!
I wanted to give myself some time before reviewing this. I have bought high end (Skinceuticals CE) and tried many organic and new to market (Maelove) vitamin C’s.
I must say I saw a great improvement to my skin! I would purchase this again for sure. Just be aware that Mad Hippie has certain vendors on Amazon that truly sell their products through.
Ive been using this and their Vitamin A to lighten an age spot directly under my eye. Ive been using for a week and I actually am noticing a difference!
Ive used The Ordinary in the past with no results, so Im super thrilled!I read some other reviews saying that if yours has a slight yellow twinge that its been oxidized and wont work.
Mine was slightly yellow. So I purchased another one directly from Mad Hippie to do a comparison. They look exactly the same.
I then emailed Mad Hippie directly and received this response:”Not to worry, a pale yellow, cloudy serum is perfectly normal for our Vitamin C Serum due to the plant extracts (such as chamomile, clary sage, and konjac) used in the formulation.
