Coronavirus: Dining-in off the menu in Winnipeg amid second wave

Indoor dining will be banned in Winnipeg after this weekend, as the coronavirus-stricken city shifts to red-level restrictions. Some restaurant owners say they shouldn’t be targeted, with new data pointing to different sources of the surge.
Mike Le Couteur looks at why eating out remains off the menu.

Plus, Canada is nowhere near herd immunity to the coronavirus as second wave surges, says Canada’s top doctor, Theresa Tam.

“We’re only at a few percentage points in terms of the immunity in our population. That leaves over 90 per cent of the population, or 95 per cent of the population still vulnerable,” said Tam in an interview with Mercedes Stephenson.
