Hi viewers, in today’s video, we will discuss The 5 BENEFICIAL PROPERTIES of the world’s most nutritious plant: Moringa, also called nature’s gift.
Get ready to get your mind blown by the overwhelming benefits of this superfood.
But first, let’s have a look at what Moringa actually is.
The Moringa tree is native to India and has high nutritional and medicinal value. It has been mentioned in one of the world’s oldest medical systems as a remedy for more than 300 diseases.
Amazingly, Moringa also grows in subtropical areas where poverty and malnutrition are prevalent. This plant definitely knows where all its nutritional powerhouse is needed the most. Studies have shown that Moringa can be an effective remedy for malnutrition in third world countries.

BUT WHY is this tree even called a nutritional powerhouse in the first place?
Because, according to the studies, Moringa contains:
• Seven times more vitamin C than oranges
• Ten times more vitamin A than carrots
• Seventeen times more calcium than milk
• Two times more protein than yoghurt, and the list is still not over!
• Fifteen times more potassium than bananas
• More iron than spinach and
• Four times more fibres than oats.

Let’s make things even more interesting:

Moringa tree is completely edible: the leaves, the flowers, the seeds, the pods, even the root. Every part of this ‘miracle tree’ has something beneficial.
But now, let’s move on to the five beneficial properties of this tree.

NUMBER ONE: NUTRITIONAL PROPERTIES
It is also called a superfood because it contains over 90 nutrients. The leaves are made up of approximately 25% protein, which is extremely rare for a plant, and it also contains all nine essential amino acids.
Moringa has lots of minerals essential for growth and the development of the human body, among which calcium is one of the most important. While 200g of milk can provide 400mg of calcium, Moringa leaves can provide up to 1000mg, and the powder form can provide more than 4000mg of calcium.
Compared to the leaves, the pods are generally lower in vitamins and minerals. However, they are exceptionally rich in vitamin C. One cup of fresh pods contains 150 % of your daily vitamin C requirement.
We are about to share something that our vegan friends will like 
Moringa provides additional plant-based proteins, minerals and vitamins. This also promotes higher performance in people competing in different sports and enables faster recovery time from exercise.
According to a report in a journal published in 2012, boiling causes the highest loss of antioxidants in vegetables, but good news again:
Boiling Moringa actually increases the availability of antioxidants and iron. It was also integrated into chocolate to increase the nutrient intake in children. It can be stored for a long time without losing nutrients, and surprisingly, dehydration improves Moringa’s shelf life without changing its nutritional value. How cool is that?
