Rebecca Sadun, MD, PhD, is an adult and pediatric rheumatologist at Duke University Medical Center, where she works in both the Duke Lupus Clinic for adult lupus patients and the Pediatric Rheumatology Lupus Clinic. Having studied immunology for her PhD, Dr. Sadun conducts research looking at how lupus patients’ immune systems are different. Recently she has also started studying the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on lupus patients at a national level. In her presentation today, she is excited to share information about how lupus patients can stay healthy during the pandemic.
