Day 2 of the Rice Diet, 3.2 Pounds Lost. Yeah!

Dr. Kempner’s rice diet was created in 1939. A dieter will ONLY consume the following foods during phase one:
* plain rice,
* fruit,
* fruit juices,
* sugar,
* minimum 80 ounces of water, and
* vitamin supplement.

Salt (i.e., sodium), fat, and oil should not be consumed.

Note, consume the fruits in accordance with standard fruit combination protocols. Also, consume the fruits at least one half hour before consuming the rice, in order to promote proper digestion.
