Will a COVID-19 vaccine prevent reinfection? Connect the Dots

COVID-19 reinfections are raising concerns about how effect a vaccine might be against coronavirus, but experts say not to worry.

Reports say a 25-year-old Nevada man tested positive for COVID-19 in April, then again in June. That second round ended up being worse and the man was hospitalized. It’s the first confirmed case of reinfection in America. Experts believe reinfection is rare and the vast majority of those who are reinfected may not even be aware. Would a vaccine prevent this?

Experts say yes, that vaccines typically do a better job of creating immunity than natural infections. But we won’t know for sure until further testing is done and a vaccine eventually is distributed to the public. #WakeUpCLT #COVID19
