In one orange there is 53 mg of vitamin C and in one cup of cantaloupe there is 36 mg. You need a minimum amount of 75-90mg a day to prevent Rickets.
Did you know vitamin C increases the absorption of iron? So it is good practice to take you iron with vitamin c supplement.
