Covid-19 is nasty. In a recent podcast we talked about enhancing our spiritual immunity to counter Covid’s negative emotional and spiritual effects. Spiritual immunity comes from resetting our minds on our biblical faith. This is a critical first step to managing the pandemic’s widespread fallout.
Resetting anything, brings it back to its foundational starting point. We are Christians because we are inherently unrighteous sinners before God. Jesus’ sacrifice changed that. As disciples of Jesus we have sonship with God. What’s this got to do with the Covid pandemic? Everything!
Sonship means God’s providence guides our everyday. What better spiritual immunity booster can there be than that? Now the hard part. What if you lost your job or might lose your business? What if your kids are challenged with distance learning? What if you or your family members become ill? What if you lose a loved one? What if isolation is bringing you anxiety or depression? What if your relationships are being strained? How do you work through all of these issues?
