COVID: Vitamin C Maximum Optimization

In 1970, Nobel Peace prize winner for chemistry, Dr. Linus Pauling released his book, “Vitamin C and the Common Cold”. He did a great service in educating us on the many utilities of vitamin C, including its anti-viral properties. As we know, the common cold is a Coronavirus, without a cure or vaccine. Dr. Pauling, and many scientists, doctors, practitioners… know the preventative and healing properties of vitamin C. Not just for infectious disease but for cardiac, eye, skin, brain…health.

Vitamin C is a Super-Antioxidant that boosts your immune system and is likely the most famous supplement, but many are unaware of the number of vitamin C family members that play an essential role in obtaining maximum vitamin C optimization. Humans cannot produce vitamin C, so how do we ensure we have included all the vitamin C family members? Many foods are rich in vitamin C but those living a busy lifestyle may need supplementation. In this video, I do a quick summary of the types of vitamin C supplements that are available, dosage options and I discuss the importance of adequate levels.
