CORRECTION and clarification (thank you for bearing with me)
The Irish figure for deaths was 1700 and not 17,000, apologies. The date was November 2019 until the end of March 2020.
According to the fantastic Professor Dolores Cahill – (paraphrased) after you take away the deaths with serious comorbidities, there was100 (preventable deaths) in Ireland between 2019-2020. 92 of them were over the age of 65. So for the 9 or 10 months, 100 people died from COVID-19 (and all of those were in her opinion preventable).
Figures from March 2020, show that worldwide deaths from COVID-19 were 56 a day, whereas deaths from TB was 3000 people a day. Also, between 85-99% of people would have no COVID-19 symptoms because their immune system would have been kicking in.
