Zhenmeat, the first plant-based meat start-up to be found in China, has recently launched meatless products including meatballs, beef patty, steak, pork loin, crayfish and dumplings as the Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated consumers’ desire for healthy diets. Its “meatballs” are now available on a trial basis at a Chinese hotpot chain store in Beijing.
