This is the 3rd time I have purchased these. My 2 dogs, age 16 and 8, eagerly eat them and think they are a special treat. I do believe they are doing something to benefit my dogs.
I ran out of these a few months ago and noticed my dogs were somewhat sluggish and not as active or bright eyed as they used to be. Since I have resumed them, I see a difference.
I have to assume that these tablets are giving them the vitamins and minerals that their dog food is lacking in.
I do feed them higher quality food, both dry and canned, made in the USA, grain free, without fillers but there must be something in these Pet Tabs that helps to boost their metabolism.
My dog has been taking this for years. She no longer will just take the pill like she did for many years, so I have to smash it up into her food. However, she is older now and has become quite finicky.
I think it’s a little pricey so that’s why I didn’t give it five stars. But, it is a good product and I’ve never had any bad effects with it and hopefully it helps her.
It does not have vitamin C in it so I have to supplement a vitamin C pill once a day.
Have been using this vitamin for over 16 years with 3 different dogs. Originally recommended by my vet when my late Yorkie was a puppy, she ate it like a treat, never a problem getting her to take her vitamin.
Have used it on two other dogs since then and they eat it the same way, like a treat. Check the ingredients, it does contain everything your dog needs for a healthy, balanced diet.
I cant really speak to whether these are helping or good for my dogs health, but they do love them, and they dont cause any digestive issues for my sensitive stomach dog.
I had a puppy with severe hookworms (2 from the litter died), so they needed extra nutrients. I started giving him these, and they must have helped because he finally started growing (also on multiple doses of heartworm medicine).
