Registered Dietitian: Vitamins & Minerals you need in your Diet! -"Is your Multi-vitamin enough?"

I’ve have had people tell me they get all the vitamin and minerals from their diet, or that a health care professional told them they are getting enough… yet when I meet with them and look at their typical diet…I do the numbers and find out this isn’t true! I recommend supplements but they tell me they “don’t want to take another pill” ….sure enough, gradually through their life the chances of them developing diseases increases. Diseases like Hypothyroid, Cardiovascular disease, Osteoporosis, and as well as making them selves more susceptible to infection and cancers. The body needs these vitamins and minerals in order to work properly and keep you healthy!
