As the picture shows the gummy’s that I got seem to be very dark and cracked. The flavor is a little strange as well. I was wondering if I got an old bottle or something.
The expiration date on the bottom says June 2020 so I guess they’re still good? My kid will basically devour anything sweet had to be offered these multiple times.
We have four kids (13, 7, 4 & 2) and weve tried many daily vitamins and supplements over the years. SmartyPants are a favorite because they use premium, natural ingredients and they taste good, too!
I appreciate that they contain no synthetic colors or artificial flavors, artificial sweeteners, or preservatives; and are also vegetarian, Certified Organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, and allergen-free ( no gelatin, milk, eggs, shellfish, soy, peanut, wheat, fish and tree nuts!)
There are three flavors: Cherry, Mixed Berry and Orange Creme — with a there is a good variety of each — and my older kids LOVE these flavors, they smell wonderful and taste great!
The serving size for kids “3 years old and up” is four gummies, and the bottle contains a 30 day supply for one child (120 gummies.)
Each serving contains a high percentage of the recommended Daily Value of vitamins B-12, C, D, E, K and other essential nutrients, like Vegetarian Omega-3, Folate, and Probioitics.
The expiration date on ours was over a year from purchase date.
Also wonderful: for every bottle of SmartyPants sold, they “make a 1-for-1 nutrient grant to Vitamin Angels, a non-profit that helps pregnant women, new mothers, and children under five gain access to life-changing vitamins and minerals!”
These vitamins are soft and chewy. The taste is amazing and they are easy to take. I did not experience any stomachaches after taking these as I have with other vitamins in the past.
My only complaint is that the serving size is larger than I expected at a whopping 6 gummy vitamins. I guess I cannot complain too much about “having” to take 6 as they are really good tasting.
The gummies are a convenient way to take vitamins with out having to choke down large pills.

I was interested in these prenatals because they use premium nutrients and contain high percentages of the Daily Value of many of the essential vitamins and minerals recommended for pregnant or lactating women.
I am not currently either one, but after four kids, I prefer to take prenatals as a daily vitamin. The large plastic recyclable bottle contains a 30 day supply, containing 180 gummies total.
The dosage is SIX gummies, with the option of taking them with or without food. Anyone who has dealt with hyperemesis gravidarum will appreciate this option, though I will say I struggle sometimes with the chewy texture.
Thankfully, it didnt make a difference if I took it with a meal or on an empty stomach. I was disappointed that these do not contain Iron, since I am anemic.
I received my bottle in August 2018, and the expiration date on the bottom is a year out, giving these plenty of shelf-life.
