A light gel, this vitamin C serum has the same consistency of other pricier brands I’ve used in the past. I use products like this to brighten and somewhat refine my skin.
When I applied this particular serum to my cleansed face it was, as expected, slightly tacky but then it was quickly absorbed and no sticky feeling remained.
I like the mica which produces a slight surface glow. It has no fragrance, dyes, parabens or silicone.The pump mechanism dispenses a controlled quantity—turn counterclockwise two clicks to open and clockwise to close.
It is a mechanical pump so for first use depress until product is released. Two pumps produced plenty to do my face and two more for my neck.Total, this is probably between 1/8 and 1/4 teaspoon of serum.
More isn’t always better and in this case using too much just wastes product. After it is absorbed, apply regular moisturizer, sunscreen, and then make-up over top.
I have used stronger serums that caused significant tingling, almost a stinging sensation when applied.This is a milder formula, but it still may cause a skin reaction in some users so it is wise with any new product to test it in an inconspicuous area.
The bottle holds one ounce and I wish the serum was visible within the bottle to monitor quantity so the user could see when it is time to replenish. It is cruelty-free.
Good reasonably economical serum.
Its a very nice package and very nicely presented it seems like a very high quality cream. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because its greasy, and as I have oily based skin anyway I hate adding anymore oily stuff to my face.
For those of you sensitive to smells this has no scent whatsoever.
Ive been using this for a few weeks now and there is a noticeable radiance to my skin. A little goes a long way with this product. Just one pump and its enough for my whole face.
It does leave my skin with a slight tightness so definitely moisturize afterwards.
I was going back and fourth for a while about getting this. I have one moisturizer by honest brand and I love that. So I figured to try this out finally and I am so happy I bought this!
Everyone saying its sticky but it does go away because it needs time to go into skin. After that I use my honest moisturizer! I will be getting more honest products now that Ive been loving the products.
I do want to note everyone has different skin. I have dry skin so thats why it feels amazing once I get it on after a clean face!
