Here are some of the main nutrition facts for courgette (boiled in water):

– Courgettes are a good source of vitamin E. 100g provides around 17% of the daily recommended amount for women and 13% for men.

– They are also a source of folate, since they provide around 11% of the daily recommended amount per 100g.

– Courgettes are a source of lots of minerals such as potassium, phosphorus, copper, magnesium and iron. 100g provides us with 3–7% of the daily recommended amount.

– 100g of courgettes also contains around 5% of our daily needs in beta-carotene, also called vitamin A, and around 3% of vitamin C.

– They provide 2–6% of the daily recommended amount per 100g of fibre.

– Lastly, 100g of courgettes contains around 3% of our daily needs in fibre.
