The second phase of the serological survey conducted by ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) will begin today. This survey aims to find out the number of people who have developed immunity against COVID-19.
Earlier the state of Kerala had managed to flatten the curve of COVID cases in the state initially but over the last few weeks, the state has seen a large spike in the Coronavirus cases.
Times Now correspondent Vivek Karindalam shares more details. He says that 1293 people were tested during the first phase of the survey in May. He also talks about the number of people who will be tested in the second phase across 30 regions.
