Here are some of the main pear nutrition facts:

– An average medium pear weighs around 180g.

– 100g of pear without the skin contains around 2.7g of fibre, which is 9% of the daily recommended amount.

– Pears are a source of vitamin C. 100g contains around 8% of the daily recommended amount.

– They are also a source of vitamin K1. They provide around 5% of the daily recommended amount per 100g.

– They are a source of B vitamins. They contain 2–4% of the daily recommended amount per 100g in vitamin B1, B2, B3, B6 and B9.

– Lastly, pears are a source of minerals such as copper, potassium, magnesium and phosphorus. 100g provides us with 2–4% of the daily recommended amount.
