If your country or region wants to leave a union, it should be done like this:
1) Arrange a referendum if negotiations should start
2) Make sure the negotiation ends in two clear paths like “stay with the new deal”, “leave hard”. Or “leave with a deal”, “leave with no deal”. Can’t have 3 options: “Stay”, “Leave with a deal”, “leave with no deal”.
To have an opinion before you do negotiations is really stupid.
