Though Alberta reported its lowest number of new COVID-19 cases in nearly a month Thursday, the province’s top doctor is preparing Albertans to be in it for the long haul.
The 56 new cases of the novel coronavirus recorded in Alberta on Thursday is the lowest count since July 8, but chief medical officer of health Dr. Deena Hinshaw said it’s important Albertans understand that the virus will likely still be a threat as we leave 2020 behind.
