Raise Your Immunity Against Coronavirus

BEAT THE CORONAVIRUS

Any virus, bacteria or pathogen – Corona, Swine flu, H1N1 – can breed in the body only when it receives an acidic medium.

Keep the body in an alkaline state by eating the right foods.

Vitamin C is key to building one’s immunity. It has antioxidant properties.
Antioxidants are molecules that prevent the cells in our body from invasion by unwanted bodies.

Choose seasonal & locally available.
Fruits – Orange, Guava, Strawberry, Pomegranate, Papaya, Pineapple.
Green leafy veggies – spinach, fenugreek / methi, bathua, sarson / mustard, amaranth, etc
Other veggies – broccoli, cauliflower, red & yellow bell peppers, capsicum, cabbage, sweet potatoes, carrot, beetroot, tomatoes, lemon, onion

Start your day with a hydrating drink – coconut water / home made fruit juice / vegetable juice/ herbal tea / lemon water or lemon concoction – lemon juice, honey, haldi & ginger.

Eat a generous serving of fruits every morning & evening. You should feel full & not feel like eating anything else immediately thereafter.

Take an onion shot for 3 days. Grate an onion – take 1 tbsp of onion juice with 1 tbsp honey. The shot helps to keep germ load at bay. Best time to have it is 1/2 hour after the morning fruits. Don’t eat anything for 1.5 hrs after these shots.

Turmeric is a great immunity booster. Mix it with lime shots and have it after meal. Squeeze 1 lemon and mix equal quantity water. If the throat is sensitive then mix more water as per comfort.

Eat home cooked food. Avoid oily foods.
Avoid animal foods (dairy, non-veg) as they are difficult to digest.
Conserve body’s energy to focus on building your immunity.

Practice intermittent fasting. Keep a gap of at least 12 hours between dinner and the next day’s breakfast.
If you feel hungry in between, reach out for liquids – water, fruit juice, coconut water.
As the body saves energy from digestion, it can work towards your immunity.
No point blaming corona if it finds a cosy, acidic, toxic spot in our body to park itself and multiply!
If you are ALKALINE, HYDRATED and NOURISHED at a CELLULAR level, any virus is within our body’s ability to tame down as we are well-programmed for it by design.
