Sharing my personal experience with recovery from Covid 19
Lessons Learned:
-Be still, the body needs all of the energy for healing and recovery.
-Allow people to help, especially if you rarely accept it, learn to receive.
-Even if you’re feeling better, remember to be gentle with yourself, don’t overdo anything, rest is key.
-There will be peaks and valleys in recovery. Listen to your body.
-Hydrate well and use electrolytes to replenish.
-Eat alkalizing foods. Choose high nutrient foods that heal the body.
-Stay away from watching too much media..it can really scare you -I don’t own a TV so grateful not to be inundated with that.
-Talk to others (possible the one who exposed you if you know ) hear their experiences recovery may be similar.
-If you can, see a naturopath and get a Vitamin IV of Vitamin C, Glutathione push, fast Vitamin IV
-Slow down upon coming back and doing usual activities, the body had a lot of oxidative stress so goal is to detoxify all that now and boost antioxidants. Training hard creates oxidative stress so we need to be gentle not to overdose the body with free radicals.
-Don’t judge yourself or others for where they’re at in this journey or their beliefs. We all are having different experiences and need to respect one another for where we are in this journey.
