Vitamins are NOT FDA approved

Not all vitamins are created equal. Dietary supplements do not require FDA approval, and the FDA only regulates supplements that make health or disease claims (that would make them regulated as drugs). Basically, our supplements are not FDA approved because no dietary supplements are. In fact, by law, the FDA cannot regulate vitamins.

FDA is not authorized to review dietary supplement products for safety and effectiveness before they are marketed. The manufacturers and distributors of dietary supplements are responsible for making sure their products are safe BEFORE they go to market.

The Food and Drug Administration regulates the claims that manufacturers can make about functional foods’ nutrient content and effects on disease, health or body function. Therefore, try GMP Manufactured, B-Corp Certified Functional Nutrition from GCOOP instead. Better safe than sorry.
