I’m a big Vitamin Water fan. It’s only slightly sweet, unlike many other flavored water beverages, and is very refreshing. The only problem is Vitamin Water is still not as healthy of a drink as I wish it was. With that said, I decided to try out a homemade recipe for a stress-relieving Vitamin Water that contained no extra sugar or odd chemicals; just natural ingredients.
I was oddly surprised by how efficient this beverage worked. The flavors of watermelon and calming rosemary dance together quite nice; I dare say they make a wonderful pair. Watermelon also contains a lot of vitamin B6, which is notorious for helping relieve stress, anxiety, and for relaxing. Rosemary, on the other hand, has been shown to break down a chemical called acetylcholine in the brain. This results in better memory, increased concentration, as well as a calmer frame of mind. The strawberries in this recipe contain phytonutrients that help to fight stress related inflammation. The lemon juice added to this recipe helps to maintain a healthy acid-alkaline balance.
After a hard day at work, there’s nothing better than a little bit of natural stress relieving refreshment to lift your spirits.

Instructions:

You can easily add a little bit of sugar to this recipe if you prefer more sweetness in your “Vitamin Water”. Next time you’re feeling a little stressed (or if you are looking for a great beverage to serve your health spa guests) try this recipe out. You’re sure to love it!
Until next time,
