It gives Vitamin D to the human, which help to increase bone and muscle energy and also enhance immune system of body. सूर्य, यानि हमारे सौर्यमंडल का तारा से निकालने वाली प्रकाश जितना हमारे वातावरण की प्रदूषण को दूर करने और जन जीवन के लिए जरूरी है उतना ही खतरनाक भी है। सूर्य की यही किरण हमारे शरीर को विटामिन डी देती है और यही किरण स्किन कैंसर का वजह भी बनती है। तो आइए दोस्तों, आज हम सूर्य से निकालने वाली किरणों को, विशेष रूप से ultraviolet यानि पराबैगनी किरण के बारे में समझते है, जिसको हम इस विडिओ में UV किरण कहेंगे।

अब बात करते है, wavelength 315 से 400 तक का Ultraviolet किरणों, यानि UV-A के विषय में। जैसा की हम जान चुके है की ultraviolet किरण की बहुत हानिकारक हिस्सा यानि UV-B और UV-C, धरती की ऊपरी वातावरण में ओज़ोन बनने और ओज़ोन से आक्सिजन में परिवर्तित होने की प्रक्रिया में खर्च हो जाता है, इसलिए ultraviolet किरण की बहुत कम हिस्सा ही धरती में पहुँच पाती है। उन मे से भी कुछ हिस्सा धरती की troposphere में पैदा हो रही प्रदूषित वातावरण की ओज़ोन को आक्सिजन में परिवर्तित करने के काम या जाती है।
